The dam of Petit-Saut is a dam located in the department of French Guiana between the towns of Sinnamary and Saint-Élie. Its dam lake, with an area of about 365 km² (about 16 km along on 19 km wide), is the largest in France; larger than the city of Paris. Its depth is 35 m and its volume about 3.5 billion cubic meters.
