The Kourou is a river in French Guiana with a length of 112 km. The city of Kourou is at its mouth to the Atlantic Ocean. Its estuary is home to the marina. As everywhere in the Amazon, the colour of the water is brown because of the sediment brought from the forest, and it is home of many fishes frequently used in cooking.
