Arsoli, in the province of Rome, dates back to the 11th century and has nice narrow ancient streets, a medieval centre still preserved, as well as a castle, once a possession of the Benedictine Order. The castle is built at the end of a spur, overlooking Arsoli on one side and extending formal gardens on the other.
